For those who are beginners to snowboarding, here are some beginners' guides to help you!

  1. Knowing the essential gear and equipment are important when first trying to snowboard. One of the first things you’ll need to know is how to properly put on your boots, identify the basic parts of a snowboard, how to strap in and out of a snowboard, figuring out your snowboard stance, and also how to carry your snowboard.

  2. Next is to learn the basic movements in snowboarding, and a few of those basic movements include how to skate and glide, how to get up from the ground (while strapped in), how to move uphill. Learning these basic movements can help you avoid injuring yourself while having fun!
