5 LEVEL OF SOCIAL DISTANCING IN SOUTH KOREA

Starting from 7 November 2020, South Korea has replaced the original three-tier social distancing system and introduced the five-tier social distancing system. Originally, there are three levels of social distancing, which are Level 1,2, and 3, and later on, Level 1.5 and Level 2.5 were added, thus making it into five levels of social distancing. The level is determined by the daily or the weekly number of new cases in the capital city and all over Korea. Different levels of social distancing may have different limitations and restrictions for entertainment facilities, restaurants and cafes, religious activities, education system, and so on. This safety measure is taken as a way to cope more fragile to virus development while reducing the impact on the economy.

PPMK wants to truly advise all of the students to take care of themselves well and be safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Make sure to always wear a mask when being outside, keep the distance between others and reduce unnecessary movement and follow the rules by the government to avoid the risk of infection of COVID-19.
